Revolutionizing Close-Quarters Safety: Cornershot Delivers Tactical Edge for Modern Threats
Introduction
In an era of evolving urban threats and high-stakes operations, law enforcement and tactical teams require tools that prioritize officer safety without sacrificing effectiveness. Cornershot, stands as a proven, life-saving innovation. This advanced tactical platform allows operators to observe, assess, and engage threats from complete concealment – around corners, over barriers, or in confined spaces – redefining risk management in close-quarters battle (CQB) and military operations in urban terrain (MOUT). The Safety Imperative: Staying Behind Cover Traditional room-clearing and corner engagements force operators to expose themselves, even briefly, creating dangerous vulnerabilities. Cornershot changes the game with its hinged weapon platform that pivots up to 60 degrees left or right.
An integrated high-resolution camera feeds real-time video to a flip-out LCD monitor, while a remote trigger mechanism lets the operator fire accurately without revealing their position. Compatible with widely used pistols like Glock 17/19/22/23 and SIG 226/228/320, the system keeps hands, head, and body fully protected behind cover, dramatically boosting survivability in hostile environments. Precision and Intelligence: Seeing Beyond the Wall Cornershot transforms a standard sidearm into a sophisticated intelligence asset. The built-in video system provides clear visuals for pre-engagement scouting, reducing uncertainty in dynamic scenarios. Optional video-out features enable live sharing with team members or command posts, improving coordination and decision-making speed. In barricaded suspect situations, multi-room structures, or hostage rescues, teams gain enhanced situational awareness – spotting threats early, minimizing collateral risks, and executing more controlled responses. Mission Versatility: Adapting to Any Scenario No two operations are identical, and Cornershot excels across diverse challenges. From classic CQB entries and stairwell navigation to vertical overwatch or over-wall surveillance, the system adapts seamlessly. The Scorpion extended-boom variant
extends reach for elevated positions or peering over obstacles while retaining full pivoting and video capabilities. Accessory rails support night-vision devices, IR illuminators, lasers, tactical lights, and non-lethal options like pepper balls or impact munitions – making it ideal for day/night missions, lethal, or less-lethal engagements. Real-World Impact and Validation Combat-proven for over two decades worldwide, Cornershot has earned trust among special forces, SWAT teams, and tactical units for room clearing, surveillance, and threat neutralization without unnecessary exposure. Recent highlights also include meetings with congressional members to advance federal and state funding for school deployments, exhibitions at the 2026 NASRO National School Safety Conference, and ongoing efforts to integrate the system in critical environments like hallways, classrooms, and vehicles – offering standoff capabilities and multi-option responses to protect students, staff, and responders. Cornershot is more than tactical gear – it’s a force multiplier that prioritizes lives while delivering unmatched precision and adaptability. As threats in urban and institutional settings continue to evolve, this system provides the decisive advantage needed to protect operators, civilians, and communities with confidence and control. For law enforcement, military, and school safety stakeholders, Cornershot represents the future of responsible, effective tactical engagement.
